# PICit A/S is ISO/IEC 27001 Certified

 

We are pleased to share that our organization has achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification, marking an important milestone in strengthening our operational resilience and information security.

### The Growing Focus on Cybersecurity

Across Europe, cybersecurity and data protection are moving higher on the agenda.   
The EU’s NIS2 directive, effective from 2024, introduces stricter requirements for how organisations manage and secure information. 

For many of our customers - particularly those working with critical infrastructure - these requirements will play a central role in their operations going forward. 

By achieving ISO/IEC 27001 certification, PICit A/S have taken a structured and proactive step that aligns with the increasing demands for cybersecurity and regulatory compliance. The certification supports a systematic approach to risk management, governance, and documentation, ensuring that information security is embedded throughout our daily operations.

### A Structured Approach to Security

Achieving ISO/IEC 27001 certification means that information security is not handled as a single project but as an integrated and continuous process.   
It covers everything from access control and risk assessment to incident response and employee awareness. All essential elements in ensuring that data is handled with care and consistency. 

The certification follows an independent audit confirming that our Information Security Management System (ISMS) meets the international standard requirements.   
This includes both technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. 

### Supporting Broader Security and Compliance Goals

For many of our customers, information security plays a critical role in daily operations.   
Several operate within sectors subject to heightened regulatory expectations for data protection and operational resilience. 

By aligning our practices with ISO/IEC 27001, we are strengthening the framework that supports both regulatory readiness and operational trust.   
This ensures that our approach to information security remains resilient, transparent, and in line with recognized international standards.

Achieving ISO 27001 certification has been a collective effort.   
It reflects the dedication and collaboration of teams across our organization who have contributed their time, expertise, and commitment to implementing and maintaining our security standards.
