System Update: G-Reg -Strengthening Goods Registration and G4G3 Workflows

We’re preparing G-Reg, PICit’s new system designed to support goods registration and G4G3 workflows in Denmark.

Goods registration and manifest handling are often characterized by overlapping data, repeated manual steps and fragmented processes. When G4G3 responsibilities sit with carriers, the need for consistency, traceability and operational control becomes even more critical.

G-Reg is built to address exactly that.

The solution brings manifest handling and goods registration into one structured data flow, reducing the need for parallel data maintenance and manual validation across systems. By enabling data reuse across processes, G-Reg supports a more streamlined and controlled workflow — without adding complexity.

We are pleased to see the system already being prepared for MSC, where it supports a structured and operational approach to managing manifest data and registration processes.

G-reg is built to support real operational workflows by:

  • reducing manual handling
  • enabling data reuse across processes
  • strengthening operational control and compliance

In addition, the system retrieves consolidated overview data from DMS, allowing users to follow registrations and status within the same workflow. This provides improved visibility and a more coherent operational overview.

With G-reg soon in use, the focus moves to continued operational rollout and optimization.
